Whatever arises (even if nothing arises), take joy in the process and pride in the role play.
• Don't make out of character plans and don't set out of character goals.
• Enjoy yourself. After all, it is your character, not someone else's. If you don't like what you're role playing, you have no one to blame but yourself.
• Start small. Take one step at a time. Starting a character involves a lot of detail and work. If you try to do it all at once, you will eventually bore.
• Be patient. Developing a character involves a myriad of tiny details. You will win some, and you will lose some.
Don't skimp. This is your guide to success.
